Established in 1938, the San Diego Archers club has a long history of memorabilia made by and for club members.

Organized in 1938 the San Diego Field Archers had briefly operated in Mission Valley before being granted use of an area in Balboa Park known as Gold Gulch in 1939. A 21 acre site which previously contained a re-created old west, gold mining, ghost town, during the California Pacific International Exposition of 1935-36.
