The Zach Hamel 3D

Zach is a three year old little boy, from El Cajon CA who until recently was an active, funny, vibrant child. On Feb 24th 2012 he was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. On the Feb 29th he underwent surgery to remove the tumor, which resulted in major complications. Zach is receiving the best possible care to aid his recovering at Rady Childrens Hospital and most of this hospital care has been taken care of. He will however require long term care and there will be many incidental expenses. San Diego Archers and Abbey’s Real BBQ will donate all proceeds to the Zach Hamel Fund.   So get out your bows, challenge your friends, bring the kids. It will be a fun packed shoot for an excellent cause.

Legend has it that deep within the undergrowth of Balboa Park struts the voracious Iron Turkey. Many a bold archer has risked arrow and limb confronting the fiend, only to have their precious shafts shatter to shards of carbon upon the beasts iron scaled hide. The tale goes that one courageous archer, known only as Dave the Dauntless, fired a magical black arrow at the fowl beast. This shot broke away small scales from its Iron-clad breast revealing two small vulnerabilities. A mighty archer of great skill and cunning could exploit this weekness and successfully impale the creature, as for the rest…. Your arrows will surely splinter.    

Hone your skills in anticipation, shoot until your limbs ache and your fingers bleed, for that is what it will take to triumph in this challenge.

Join our Iron Turkey 3D Challenge on Sunday 4^th of March 2012 and test your nerve.

This is a 34 target two arrow shoot including the Iron Turkey and other many interesting shots to test your skills, the blind shot, the Jakes, the distant gobbler.
