Attention All San Diego Archers!

The King Arthur renaissance-themed tournament is our biggest festival event of the year.

Be sure to bring your family and friends to San Diego’s favorite archery event on Sunday, June 16th, 2024 (Fathers Day).

Food, snacks, and drinks will be available on the range.

Opportunity Drawing! Sunday, May 19, 2024 at the Morley Field Archery Range (☀️ AccuWeather)

On the day of the shoot, visit the visitor’s table between 7:45 am to 8:30 am. Sign the paper waiver form for each participant and pick up a blank scorecard before entering the practice area. Speed up registration by printing and signing your waiver form now?

Range briefing will begin after 8:30 am, and shooting will commence after 9 am.

Volunteers are needed at 7 am to help set up and take down targets!
If you’re unable to help set up targets, please help us in taking down and storing the targets at the end of the shoot. Remember: volunteers receive a $15 club credit card to shoot for FREE!

The SDA 900 Round includes:
30 arrows per distance
Adult Distances: 60, 50, 40 yards
Youth Distances: 50, 40, 30 yards
Cub Distances: 30, 20, 10 yards

This is a 90-arrow (900 points) round, shooting 5 ends (or groups) of six arrows at each of 60, 50, and 40 yards for adults, 50, 40, and 30 yards for youth, and 30, 20, and 10 yards for cubs. There will be a five-minute time limit to shoot six arrows. The target is 122 cm in diameter, divided into five concentric color zones arranged from

The target is 122 cm in diameter, divided into five concentric color zones arranged from the center outward as follows: Yellow, Red, Blue, Black, and White. Each concentric color zone is divided into two concentric circles, resulting in 10 scoring zones.

Arrows shall be scored as follows:
Inner Yellow-10, Outer Yellow-9, Inner Red-8, Outer Red-7, Inner Blue-6, Outer Blue-5, Inner Black-4, Outer Black-3, Inner White-2, Outer White-1; all others shall be scored as an “M” (miss).

Scoring: 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1-M
Maximum Score: 900

$10 for SDA members & Active Duty Military
$15 for non-members

Paper shoots may be canceled due to heavy rain (Animal, Hunter, Field Rounds). While 3D Shoots will NOT be canceled due to bad weather!

Please submit your score online. If you choose to not submit your score online, your participation in the tournament may not be recorded. Your uploaded or paper scorecard is still required for verification purposes.

  • Tournament notes: Cool morning, sunny day. Excellent setup, though several Trad shots were above 40 yards, making for lower-than-usual scores by all.
    Volunteers included: Nate Nier, Jim Baker, Russ, Dan Norvell, Jim Walker. Allison overslept… ;_)
  • Misentered scores awaiting correction: None.
