SDA 900 Round This Sunday The San Diego Archers Will host the 900 Round This Sunday, May 17, 2015 At the Morley Field Archery Range Registration opens at 7:30 am Registration closes at 8:45 am Shoot begins at 9:00 am The San Diego Archers 900 Round includes: 30 arrows per distance Adult Distances: 60, 50, 40 yards Youth Distances: 50, 40, 30 yards Cub Distances: 30, 20, 10 yards This is a 90 arrow (900 points) round, shooting 5 ends (or groups) of six arrows at each of 60, 50, 40 yards for adults, 50, 40, 30 ...
Volunteer Work Party: This Saturday, May 9, 2015 When: Saturday, May 9th, 8am-noon. Where: Balboa Park Rube Powell Archery Range. Bring: Sturdy shoes, work gloves, water bottle. Work Focus: Rebuilding worn out target butts and those which were taken down during the bridge reconstruction. Clearing shooting lanes and shooting stations for all targets, including the extra King Arthur target positions. This is continued preparation for our Annual King Arthur Tournament on June 21st. The San Diego Archers will be hosting the 2015 US Police & Fire Championships Thursday through Saturday, June 4-6, 2015. The schedule is as follows: Thursday, June 4, Morley Field, 900 Round Friday, June 5, Balboa Park Range, Field Round Saturday, June 6, Balboa Park Range, 3D Round Check-in begins at 8am each day Shoot begins at 9am and should be finished by ~2pm Please note: Each range will be closed to public shooting during the tournaments.
